Our Pennsylvania Fieldstone is harvested straight from the fields of Northeastern Pennsylvania in the heart of Pennsylvania Bluestone Country. PA Fieldstone is essentially bluestone which has been exposed to the weather for 150 years or more.As land was cleared for farming in the 1800’s, farmers constructed walls out of the stone from their fields. With the advent of modern farming equipment, these walls are being removed. By expanding the size of their fields, farmers can irrigate and maintain their crops more efficiently.
